In 2020, we’re hazarding a guess that you, like many of us, have experienced some disruption to your travel plans whether it’s your annual family beach vacation or a bucket list multi-country adventure. Staying safe and sheltering in place means staying at home and even with positive announcements plus some countries lifting their restrictions, it’s looking likely that the next six months will see barriers to travel.

During this time and looking forward, one of the main questions we’re asking ourselves is what will the rest of the year look like for travelers? Industry data is reporting that there will be a decline in international travel however a recent survey from Avvio in a four-week study of personal 2020 travel plans, showed that 71.5% of respondents intended to travel domestically post-COVID-19.
